Is PhotoArsenal free?
Yes. Downloading is free and you can manage your basic inventory without paying. Optional Pro features are available via subscription for users who want advanced functionality.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your entire catalog is stored locally on your iPhone. You don't need an internet connection to use the app.
Is my data in the cloud?
No. PhotoArsenal doesn't upload your info to any server. Your data stays on your device. You can manually export your catalog whenever you want.
What brands and cameras are supported?
PhotoArsenal includes an extensive database of Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus/OM System, Leica, Pentax and many more, with their lenses, batteries and accessories. You can add custom gear if something isn't in the catalog.
How does camera-lens compatibility work?
The app recognizes mounts (EF, EF-S, RF, F, Z, E, L, X, MFT, etc.) and warns you when a lens isn't compatible with a specific body or requires an adapter.
Can I back up my inventory?
Yes. From Settings → Backup you can export your full catalog to a file you can save in iCloud, Dropbox, email, or anywhere. To restore, just import it back.
Is there an Android version?
Currently PhotoArsenal is only available for iOS (iPhone). No Android version is scheduled.
